The NFL season’s 11th week featured top quarterback matchups, rekindled division rivalries, and a Carolina homecoming.

Teams are preparing for the final stretch of the regular season with seven weeks remaining on the calendar. Injuries have been a major aspect this season, and teams are keeping an eye on their injury reports as the weekend approaches.

Aaron Jones, the Green Bay Packers’ running back, might miss a week or two due to an MCL injury, which would be a significant blow to the team’s offensive. Meanwhile, Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. With a knee issue, Kamara also missed Week 10.

He has a chance to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football. Kyler Murray, who has been out of the Arizona Cardinals’ last two games due to an ankle ailment, believes he’s “very close” to returning.

Thigh injury The Ravens have a season-high 13 players listed on their injury report, but Brown seems to be ready to go. He was out for two days, then returned on Friday and ran quite well. Brown might have a huge game against the Chicago Bears, who have given up the sixth-most passing yards and the fifth-most touchdown passes to wide receivers. Brown is one of three NFL players with at least 50 receptions, 700 receiving yards, and six touchdown catches this season in what has been a breakthrough season (Cooper Kupp and Tyreek Hill are the others). Hamstring injury During the team’s defeat against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Edmunds sustained a hamstring injury. He did not play in last week’s game against the New York Jets and only had limited involvement in Friday’s practice. In Edmunds’ absence, A.J. Klein began at middle linebacker and will continue to do so if he is unable to play. Klein performed well in his absence, with seven tackles and a pass breakup. Edmunds is listed as doubtful for the game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Alaina Getzenberg is a writer who lives in New York City.

COVID is a virus that causes illness. Cooper has been ruled out for the next two games after testing positive for COVID, which will have a significant effect on the Cowboys’ offense but may not be as severe as many believe. After missing seven games due to a calf issue, Michael Gallup returned to the lineup last week. CeeDee Lamb is the Cowboys’ leading receiver in terms of catches, yards, and touchdowns. Cedrick Wilson stepped in well as the No. 3 receiver in place of Gallup, while Noah Brown and Malik Turner have each had strong seasons. Cooper has the ability to create huge plays on the fly, but Dak Prescott has demonstrated he is not hesitant to go to any of his receivers in a pinch. Todd Archer is a writer.

Goff has missed three consecutive sessions due to an oblique injury ahead of Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Goff didn’t practice on Friday and is labeled as uncertain, so backup Tim Boyle has been getting first-team work all week. For the first time in his career, Boyle is expected to take up the starting duty in Goff’s absence. Eric Woodyard’s remark

Knee Ingold tore his ACL on a noncontact play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, and his absence will be felt not just as a short-yardage back, but also as a receiver in the flat and as a team leader. Foster Moreau, the backup tight end, had some action at fullback against the Chiefs, although he’s mostly a pass-catcher. Ingold is anticipated to be placed on the Raiders’ season-ending injured reserve list, while fullback Sutton Smith was added to the practice squad this week. Gutierrez, Paul

Shoulder injury Joseph has been dealing with a shoulder ailment, which has kept him out of practice the last two days. Despite the fact that he was labeled as questionable on Friday’s injury report, he has a chance to play Sunday and will be examined before the game. Shelley Smith says:

Quadriceps injury This season, Wilkins has been one of Miami’s greatest defensive players, capable of stopping both the run and the pass. Wilkins missed practice on Wednesday before returning in a limited capacity on Thursday, and coach Brian Flores is optimistic that he will be able to play against the Jets on Sunday. If he is unable to travel, the Dolphins may call up Andrew Billings, who was just signed to the practice squad. — Louis-Jacques Marcel

Knee Kamara’s absence will be felt by a Saints offense that was already thin when he was healthy. This season, he has 840 yards from scrimmage, seven touchdowns, and 32 catches to lead the club. The one saving grace is that they have Mark Ingram II as a trustworthy backup option, who should play a key role as a runner, pass catcher, and pass protector once again. During last Sunday’s defeat against Tennessee, Ingram had 18 carries for 108 yards and a score in Kamara’s absence.

Knee and shoulder injuries Armstead will be sidelined for the second game in a row, a huge blow for a Saints offense that will be missing outstanding RT Ryan Ramczyk, Kamara, and others. When Armstead has been out this year, veteran James Hurst has been a dependable alternative. However, given that they must also replace Ramczyk, they may have to alter their lineup and deploy either youngster Landon Young or veteran Jordan Mills at one of the two tackle positions.

Ramczyk’s knee injury would be a major setback at any moment. But the timing is particularly inconvenient for the Saints, since Armstead has been ruled out for the second week in a row (not to mention Kamara for a depleted Saints offense). Hurst, Young, or Mills will have to fill this void for the Saints. Triplett, Mike

Hamstring injury After a three-week spell on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury, Peterson was designated for return and went through three days of practice. Coach Mike Zimmer said he wasn’t sure whether Peterson would play against Green Bay, but his absence from the final injury report is a promising indication. Courtney Cronin (Courtney Cronin)

Hip and knee injuries Watt was hurt on a fourth-quarter sack of Jared Goff and missed the remainder of last week’s game with the Lions. Watt was unable to practice this week despite MRIs on the ailment coming back negative, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. He’ll be one of many All-Pros on a defense that will be missing safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (COVID-19) and cornerback Joe Haden (foot). Brooke Pryor is an actress who plays Brooke Pryor.

Finger and ribs injuries The Niners believed Mitchell would be ready to play against the Jaguars on Sunday after undergoing surgery to repair a broken finger on his right hand. However, as the week progressed, that probability appeared to fade. Mitchell is now categorized as questionable and is unlikely to participate. Given Mitchell’s rise, it’s a bummer for the Niners, but they’re in a better position now that veteran Jeff Wilson Jr. is back and available. Wilson is expected to start for Mitchell, with Trey Sermon filling in as the backup, in part due to the absence of fellow running back JaMycal Hasty due to an ankle ailment. Groin injury The Seahawks won’t have to deal with standout receiver DeAndre Hopkins on Sunday, but they could be missing Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams when they play the Cardinals, who are in first place in the division. Adams, who is classified as doubtful, will be a game-time decision, according to Pete Carroll, after injuring his groin in practice this week. Adams was listed as restricted on Thursday’s injury report and did not practice on Friday. D.J. Reed, the cornerback, will also be a game-time decision. “We don’t know enough about it yet,” Carroll said of Adams and Reed, “so we have to wait and utilize every day.” “They’re hoping that everything will work out.” Brady Henderson’s quote

Groin injury For the first time since Week 5, Samuel hasn’t been declared out for the next game on a Friday. Instead, he’s classified as suspect. He hasn’t played since a two-play stint in a Week 5 defeat to New Orleans, and it’s difficult to picture him doing so now. For the first time in a long time, he took part in positional warm-up exercises on Friday, but he remained on the sidelines throughout the team portion of practice. It’s development, but considering his season’s ups and downs, it’s difficult to say how much. ‘John Keim’
