The actor, director, and producer for the upcoming Lost Boys remake has a few choice words for those who are not on board with the reboot.
The lost boys 4 is a movie that was released in 1987. It starred Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, and Jamison Newlander as the Lost Boys of Peter Pan. Alex Winter is one of the producers of the remake which will be released on January 11th 2019.
Warner Bros. revealed Monday that The Lost Boys, a legendary vampire film from 1987, will be rebooted. The hiring of Noah Jupe and Jaeden Martell in major parts was included in the announcement, but it was unclear which key roles they would portray. It’s being billed as a completely fresh and reinvented version of the original film. As you would expect, strong views were expressed, anger was elicited, and the predictable cry of ‘Don’t destroy a classic’ resounded as Hollywood continued to delve into our collective cherished treasures and’reimagine’ them.
Go mullet or go home, that’s the choice. https://t.co/YaPQeHmT1c

Alex Winter aka Marko, an undisputed expert on all things The Lost Boys, said yesterday, “Go mullet or go home.” Fans echoed his sentiments, exclaiming, “NO MULLET, NO MOVIE!”

Alex Winter, a.k.a. Marko, has a point. In The Lost Boys, you may shut your eyes and look in any direction and find a beautiful mullet to feast your eyes on. Alex Winter, on the other hand, is definitely the winner of the blue ribbon. Take in the beauty of Kentucky’s waterfall.
When it comes to the Tennessee tophat, the other vampire blood brothers, notably the ultra-cool fanged ringleader David, beautifully played by Kiefer Sutherland, are no slouches.
Laddie joined in on the Achy-breaky-bad-mistake-making fun.
The nice people, including our troubled Michael, portrayed by Jason Patric, proudly showed their Canadian passports. Corey Feldman has been rocking a Camero Cut for decades, so it was only natural that he have his on display.
Corey Haim has always had a trademark boyish short cut hair, but in Crank: High Voltage, he outdid himself.
If you’ve made it this far down my mullet memory lane, you may be the right person to assist me with my unofficial thesis. You, like me, are emotionally engaged in the Lost Boys remake. I’m attempting to distill the soul of a picture, to identify the essential element or aspect of a film that the public accepts, if not welcomes, a remake or sequel. I’m having trouble figuring things out. Is it because the original cast is back that it’s okay? Is it because, as in Rob Zombie’s The Munsters, we have faith in the director? Is it because we believe a new cast of performers, such as Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis in The Fly, might make it better? Why, on the other hand, are we repelled by the mere mention of the term reboot when standing too near to our priceless silver screen treasures? Thoughts?
